The Rocky Mountain Wranglers Midget Minor AAA team is looking forward to the upcoming Pikes Peak Fall Festival tournament. The Wranglers are coming off of two successful weekends with the Buc Bowl Tournament and the Rocky Mountain Regional Silver Stick Tournament.
In Des Moines, the Wranglers played the California Cougars, the Dallas Alliance and the Chicago Flames to ties, and lost a tough game to the Team Maryland 1991's. Grant Ehrick led the charge with an outstanding tournament performance while playing injured.
In Denver at the Silver Stick, the Wranglers beat a tough and well coached Arvada Major AA team 6-2, and lost heartbreakers to the returning Silver Stick Champion Phoenix polar bears, and the Boulder Major AA Prep teams. Dylan Snyder was outstanding in net, and Christopher Finch had a breakout game against Arvada with 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist).
The Wranglers have been coming together very well, and have shown grit, determination and tremendous work ethic against tough opponents over the last several weeks.
The Pikes Peak Miners Fall Festival will be a good test, en route to several league games and the EHK Tournament in Dallas in November.
The Wranglers, need your support at our home games! Please check the schedule page on this site for upcoming game info.
